Shanghai-style paper-cutting, as a representative intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Shanghai, faces challenges including aging inheritors, limited interaction, and disconnection with young audiences. This study aims to develop an interactive digital revitalization framework for Shanghai-style paper-cutting using ByteDance’s Coze AI Agent. We constructed a structured knowledge base covering its history, techniques, and cultural connotations, and designed a four-stage closed-loop workflow: Cultural Awareness – Skill Learning – Creative Practice – Sharing & Feedback. User evaluation shows high overall satisfaction , with strong recognition in content engagement and interactive experience. The framework effectively lowers the participation threshold, enhances youth engagement, and enables personalized ICH dissemination. This lowcode solution provides a replicable model for digital inheritance and revitalization of traditional crafts in the digital era.
